Disney Completes Marvel Acquisition For $4.3 Bln

Walt Disney Co. (DIS) completed its acquisition of Marvel Entertainment Inc. (MVL), according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission Thursday afternoon. The cash-and-stock deal was valued at about $4.3 billion, based on Disney’s stock price of $32.25 a share in 4 p.m. New York Stock Exchange trading.
